Beautii ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Beautii, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide during onboarding

When you set up Beautii, you provide preferences such as your first name, skin type, skin tone, aesthetic style, and makeup preferences. This information is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not have a backend server or user accounts.

Photos and camera access

Beautii uses your device camera to capture selfies for virtual try-on and to scan beauty products. Photos you take within the app are processed as follows:

• Virtual try-on: Your selfie is sent to Google's Gemini API to generate the makeup result image. The image is transmitted securely and is not stored by us on any server.
• Product scanning: A photo of the product is sent to Google's Gemini API to identify the product and analyze its ingredients. The image is transmitted securely and is not stored by us on any server.
• Saved results: Try-on results and scanned product data that you choose to save are stored locally on your device only.

Subscription and payment information

Beautii uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier to manage your subscription status. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information such as credit card numbers or billing addresses.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To personalize your experience based on your skin and style preferences
• To process selfie images for virtual makeup try-on
• To process product images for ingredient analysis
• To manage your subscription status

3. Third-Party Services

Beautii uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API: Processes images for virtual try-on and product scanning. Images are sent securely via HTTPS. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of this data. We do not send any personally identifiable information to Google beyond the images required for processing.
• RevenueCat: Manages subscription status using an anonymous identifier. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email, or any personal data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store: Handles all payment processing for subscriptions. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data Storage and Security

All personal data, including your profile, preferences, saved looks, and saved products, is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate any cloud servers or databases. Your data exists only on your device.

Images sent to Google's Gemini API for processing are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections.

5. Data Retention

Since all data is stored on your device, you have full control over it. Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data. You can also reset your profile within the app at any time.

6. Children's Privacy

Beautii is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to address the situation.

7. Your Rights

Because Beautii stores data locally on your device and we do not collect or store personal data on any server, you maintain complete control over your information at all times. You can:

• Delete all your data by deleting the app
• Reset your profile from within the app
• Deny camera or photo library access at any time via your device settings

8. Tracking and Analytics

Beautii does not use any analytics frameworks, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. We do not track you across apps or websites. We do not collect device identifiers for advertising purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of Beautii after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
